A new addition to the 2024 Michelin Guide for Phuket, Restaurant Royd is an intimate 12-seater restaurant with gorgeous, moody interiors housed in a Chino-style home. Operated by the talented ROYD team headed by Chef Suwijak aka Chef Mond, this gastronomic wonderland offers a contemporary and seasonal Southern Thai tasting menu, giving traditional flavors a modern, gourmet approach. Royd’s menu Incorporates storytelling and narrative into each thoughtful dish and drink. Their cocktail pairings were made in collaboration with the famous cocktail bar, Dibuk House, and were specially curated to accompany the courses. The crispy bee hoon topped with morning glory was touted as the Michelin Guide’s favorite bite. Guests also love the fresh seafood– particularly the Phuket Rock Lobster. Want something more indulgent? The Phatthalung Organic Duck paired with their Phatthalung Black Sticky Rice and satay peanut butter is rich and loaded with umami flavor.
