Along the river stands Wat Prayoon Temple, a winner of the UNESCO Award of Excellence. The temple was completed in the early 19th century, during the reign of King Rama III. The hallmark of Wat Prayoon is its striking and beautiful white pagoda, which shines brightly in contrast against the blue sky.
