Known as the world's tallest building standing at 2,722 feet (830 meters) with 163 floors, the Burj Khalifa is just outside connected to the Dubai Mall.  It was designed by Architect Adrian Smith, and he incorporated patterns from traditional Islamic architecture.  His main inspiration was a regional desert flower, the Hymenocallis, whose organic form is one of the main concepts of the tower's design.  The building's outer lobes extend from its center core, resembling petals from a stem.  The view is spectacular especially at night when everything is illuminated with light cubes.  We recommend going to the Fountain Show at night, which runs daily starting from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, for every 30 minutes.  The park is linked to the rest of Downtown by bridges and has a promenade going all the way around the edge.  The perfect place to take your cup of Arabica coffee and enjoy the view.

Jumeira Beach is a white sand beach that is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf and stretches across along on the coast of Dubai.  You can spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying the warm weather and listening to the beach waves here.  We love to go during sunset hours because the view is absolutely glorious.  To experience the serenity of Islam culture, there is also a mosque nearby, called the Jumeira Mosque.

The Green Planet in City Walk is a standalone bio-dome that is home to over 3,000 plants and animals.  It’s also the largest indoor, man-made and life-sustaining tree in the world.  There is a large tree that covers the entire height of the forest, but that tree is actually man-made.  The plants that have been planted all over it are real and will continue to grow and flourish.  Individual Tickets are AED95 for adults and AED70 for children (3 – 12 years).
