% Arabica’s journey in China has finally brought us to Chongqing. It is located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers and is known as the “Mountain City” because of the undulating terrain and steep hills. The local adaptation to life in the unique geography of Chongqing has created many famously quirky forms of public transportation, such as elevators and metro lines that go through buildings!
Our very first % Arabica in Chongqing is located at the top of a flight of stairs between the sunken plaza and first floor of Chongqing MixC. You will see a triangle shape store with a full hight clear glass wall while standing at the plaza. In the middle of the huge facade is our iconic “%” logo. The facade wall is adorned with white tiles, and lights have been inset strategically to create an effect that will shine like stars at night.
