One of Bali’s best surfing spots! Located halfway between Kuta Beach and Legian Beach, Halfway is an exposed beach break that benefits from both sea and sky to create some awesome waves perfect for beginner and intermediate level surfers. The truly adventurous will enjoy taking on the long fast walls of waves while smaller waves provide beginners the opportunity to practice and feel more at ease. Halfway is also known for hosting a lot of surfing competitions in Bali and also has surf schools where friendly instructors will teach you the basics of surfing. The best time for waves at Halfway is often during the month of August with Southwest swells combining with offshore winds from the East to create some fantastically big waves.
