This museum’s actually got two sites in the city of Hefei. The newer of the two is at No. 87 Huaining Road and its building has a Huizhou-style of architecture, with pools of water surrounding all four sides. Inside, browse through the exhibitions detailing the rich history and culture of the Anhui Province. With over 220,000 relics, this place is a veritable treasure trove. Bronzeware from the Shang dynasty, Song and Yuan gold and silverware, ancient books, and paintings by Pan Yuliang - the latter being the first female painter in China to paint in the Western style, making her a famous figure in modern Chinese art history.
