% Arabica Hong Kong The Peak Tower

Designer's Note

This new % Arabica project is located in a prime enclave in Hong Kong: the Peak Tower, a bustling shopping mall with hundreds of daily visitors. The constant flow of people inspired the design of a kinetic establishment, reflecting this constant movement.

The use of a two colored cladding: yellow and white, creates a sense of movement and a vibrant and magical atmosphere. The large bar counter, positioned right at the entrance, develops towards the two sides as a continuous element, doubling as a table where customers can sit. Towards the glass façade, a seating area is created facing the large window to enjoy the view. The curved shape of this element also mirrors the flow of people thanks to its sinuous geometry, gracefully adapting to the space inside the commercial center.

Natural light bathes the entire space, enhanced by a hanging lamp that follows the bar’s geometry, where chemex lamps are suspended to create a luminous experience. A mirror is placed at the back that doubles the light and amplifies the kinetic character of the establishment.
