Designer's Note
“Taking advantage of two storefronts and large space, we placed the kitchen in the center and made it rounded in shape for easy access and good circulation. The existing ceiling is high enough to optimize the above-counter space.
As such, we designed the big spiral staircase above the counter where customers can sit on the steps and enjoy different views. The surrounding ivy falls lightly, as a green curtain enhances the new and lively look of this area. Each step also plays a role as a large LED panel to light up the kitchen space.
We designed the seats, the bean cellar, and most of the other elements to harmonize with the center, guiding them to follow the concentric lines. They also carry different colors to enhance the white central element.”***
