% Arabica Amman The Boulevard

Designer's Note

“Jordan is filled with beautiful antiquities and historic buildings, one of the factors that attract many people to the country.

Upon beginning the design of the first Arabica store in Jordan, we embarked on a journey exploring various landmarks, culminating in a visit to Petra. The dynamic scenery of Petra struck us profoundly, leaving a lasting impression on our design inspiration.

Striving to incorporate elements of Petra’s landscape into the store’s design feature, “CAVE” was created as a design concept.

The store interior features small spaces reminiscent of the caves in Petra. These spaces were incorporated with Arabica’s design elements such as bean bags, merchandise items, and % signage. The spaces also feature greenery that grows wild in Jordan and a seating space with cushions using traditional Jordanian fabrics.

As Petra is said to be a rosy colored ancient site, its rose-coloring feature is adopted in the flooring and planters’ design.

By integrating Jordan’s scenery and its unique culture within the white space of the Arabica store, we hope many customers in Jordan will enjoy and love Arabica coffee.” ***
